Accidents are unplanned and unintentional events. They result in harm to personnel and loss of property. Accidents can be prevented by implementing appropriate controls. To conduct a complete accident/incident investigation, the factors contributing to an accident as well as the means to prevent accidents, must be clearly understood.

Purpose of this course is to provide information regarding accident investigation personnel, specific investigation techniques and procedures to investigate.
