Falls are the leading cause of worker fatalities in the construction industry. This course covers safe use and erection of stairways and guardrails. Stairways, related safety threats, and fall arrest systems are discussed. Recognition and abatement of a variety of hazards are covered with a strong emphasis on fall protection.
